About the Role
The Talent Room is seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing Coordinator to join their team. As a key member of the marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns across digital and traditional platforms, ensuring brand consistency across all marketing channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns across digital and traditional platforms
- Create engaging content for social media, email marketing, and website updates
- Design basic marketing materials using tools such as Canva (social posts, brochures, presentations, etc.)
- Coordinate and schedule social media posts and track performance metrics
- Support the management of company websites, including content updates and blog uploads
- Assist with email marketing campaigns and newsletters
- Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of marketing projects
- Conduct basic market research and competitor analysis
- Monitor and report on campaign performance and provide insights for improvement
- Maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in a marketing or similar role
- Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (advantageous)
- Experience with Canva or similar design tools (advantageous)
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Afrikaans and English
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
