About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Lodge Anchor to join our team at Bushwise’s exclusive lodge in the Free State. As a key member of our operations team, you will support the Lodge Manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high standards across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, world-class guest experiences
- Host guests and manage front-of-house operations
- Oversee daily lodge operations across all departments
- Support stock control, admin, and operational reporting
- Lead, train, and motivate staff to maintain high standards
- Assist with budgets, stock management, and cost control
- Ensure smooth check-ins, check-outs, and guest transitions
- Uphold sustainability and conservation practices
Requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience in a lodge or hospitality management role
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Experience with lodge systems (PANstrat, ResRequest, Semper, etc.)
- Financial understanding and stock control experience
- Passion for guest service and attention to detail
- Knowledge of conservation/sustainability (advantageous)
- Valid driver’s license
- Able to work flexible hours in a remote environment
