Job Summary

Our client, a leading business in the grain and oilseeds commodity trading sector, is seeking a highly organised and detail-driven Commercial Trade Support Administrator to support their commercial team. The successful candidate will manage trade-related processes, ensure accurate reporting, and serve as a key point of contact between internal departments and external partners. Key Responsibilities Accurate and timeous capturing and reporting of physical trades. Understanding of commodity costing and its components. Contract management, including prompt submission to counterparties. Physical position reporting and reconciliation. Management of unpriced contracts in collaboration with the commercial team. Ensuring all contract amendments are processed on the same day. Handling internal and external queries related to physical trades and contracts. Adhering to business processes and meeting audit requirements. Applying and understanding Incoterms and their related costs. Demonstrating commercial awareness by engaging with Finance, Logistics and Trading. Managing communications and queries with both customers and suppliers. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Proven experience in commercial support within the grain and oilseeds commodity trading industry. Strong administrative and organisational skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Strong attention to detail. Understanding of global commodity markets and trading practices. Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment. Working Environment / Physical Demands Regular communication around new and amended trades. Occasional support with PNL reconciliation. Continuous interaction with internal teams to maintain alignment and consistency. Frequent communication with customers and suppliers regarding contracts. Core Competencies Effective communicator with strong relationship-building skills. High attention to detail. Professional, ethical, and integrity-driven. Systems-focused mindset. Self-motivated and able to work independently.
