About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Rigger to join our team at Limpopo Career Consortium (Limcaco) on an urgent basis. As a Rigger, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain plant equipment in accordance with safety protocols
• Conduct rigging operations to ensure secure lifting and movement of heavy loads
• Inspect equipment and site conditions to identify potential hazards
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards

Requirements

• Grade 12 (English and Numeracy)
• DMR certified Rigger Trade Certificate 2
• 2 to 3 years related experience as a Rigger in a plant environment
• Own transport and valid driver’s license
• Good general health
• Certificate of fitness (Red Ticket)
