About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and sales-driven Building Services Sales Consultant to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for meeting and greeting customers, understanding their needs, and providing recommendations. You must also have excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet customers and deal with their enquiries both face to face and telephonically and via email
  • Understand customer needs and requirements and provide recommendations
  • Call on clients for new business opportunities
  • Measure plans or go to a building site to ensure correct measurements are obtained for the sale
  • Negotiating of sales and closing of sales deals
  • Manage and process orders
  • Manage invoicing process
  • Achieve monthly targets
  • Assist with stock and stock taking when required
  • Assist in any area of the company when somebody needs assistance

Requirements

  • Matric
  • Relevant qualifications advantageous
  • Valid driver’s license
  • 2-3 years proven sales experience in the construction and/or retail industry
  • Alternatively, a salesperson with proven experience in related home finishing industries
