We’re seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and support the housekeeping team, ensuring consistently high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Supervision Supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping staff, including Room Attendants and support personnel. Allocate daily tasks and monitor completion to maintain efficiency and high standards. Conduct regular performance feedback and coaching sessions. Quality & Standards Ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are cleaned and maintained to hotel standards. Perform quality inspections and address any issues immediately. Maintain consistency in presentation, hygiene, and guest amenities. Guest Service & Experience Respond promptly to guest requests, complaints, or special requirements. Ensure that the housekeeping team delivers an exceptional guest experience at all times. Inventory & Stock Control Monitor and manage cleaning supplies, linen, and guest amenities. Ensure correct handling, storage, and usage to minimize loss or waste. Health, Safety & Compliance Enforce hygiene, safety, and health protocols across the housekeeping department. Conduct regular training and toolbox talks on safe cleaning practices and proper use of chemicals. Reporting & Administration Maintain records of staff attendance, room inspections, and inventory usage. Assist management with housekeeping reports and operational planning. Support recruitment and onboarding of new housekeeping team members. Qualifications & Education Requirements Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent. Formal training in hospitality or housekeeping management is advantageous. Experience Minimum 2–3 years in a supervisory role within a hotel housekeeping environment. Experience in a 4☠or higher hotel is preferred. Preferred Skills Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Attention to detail and commitment to high standards. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to resolve issues efficiently and maintain a positive work environment. ⚠️ Important Application Notes Must hold a valid South African ID.
