About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and operationally strong Infrastructure & Network Operations Coordinator to join our growing infrastructure environment in Cape Town’s city centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing fibre network builds, CCTV installations, access control systems, and field teams, ensuring seamless operations excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Fibre Network Builds: Run full FTTH/FTTB deployment cycles; Coordinate civils, fibre teams, splicing, activation; Keep as-builts and documentation sharp and accurate.
- CCTV Installations (IP-based): Plan and manage estate & business park surveillance projects; Oversee camera placement, NVR setup, PoE switching; Ensure clean cable routing correct power availability.
- Access Control Systems: Gate motors, intercoms, biometrics, remote access tech; Coordinate installers and ensure clean, functional execution.
- Team & Contractor Coordination: Allocate fibre, CCTV and access teams; Conduct site inspections and quality checks; Enforce standards with fairness and backbone.
- Procurement, Stock & Cost Control: Manage suppliers and pricing; Control stock levels and prevent shrinkage; Track cost per metre, per camera, per site.
- Work with finance to keep projects profitable.
