About the Role
The company is seeking a Junior SQL & SSRS Developer to join their IT team in Bellville, Cape Town. The purpose of this role is to convert recurring spreadsheet reports into automated, system-driven reports aligned with business standards. It exists to replace manual processes with reliable data structures and live dashboards for production, operations, and finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert recurring spreadsheet reports into automated, system-driven reports.
- Build and maintain reliable SQL data structures while ensuring alignment with SYSPRO.
- Develop live management dashboards for production, operations, and finance.
- Implement automated KPI validation and investigate discrepancies to ensure reporting integrity.
- Respond to urgent data requests and prioritize reporting improvements based on business impact.
- Maintain system stability, manage access control, and ensure reporting processes are documented.
Requirements
- 35 years of experience at a junior level with specific exposure to SYSPRO.
- Proficiency in SQL engineering and SSRS report development.
- Experience in building automated reporting blueprints and live dashboards.
- Ability to quantify business impact through time-savings achieved via automation.
- Professional proficiency in both English and Afrikaans.
Qualifications
- BSc in Information Technology.
