About the Role

A leading Data Centre organisation in Cape Town is seeking a recently trade-tested Millwright or Electrician to join their team on a 12-month learnership contract to complete a Systems Support Programme (NQF Level 5). This opportunity provides junior artisans with specialised industry exposure within a technical data centre environment, fostering growth and career development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment
  • Perform tasks related to mechanical systems and machinery
  • Participate in the installation and commissioning of new electrical and mechanical systems
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve technical issues

Requirements

  • Recently trade-tested Millwright or Electrician
  • Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Clear criminal record (non-negotiable)
  • Relevant experience in electrical or mechanical systems preferred
