About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Maintenance Administrator to support our Maintenance Department in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring preventative maintenance schedules are maintained, purchase orders are processed efficiently and timeously, suppliers are coordinated effectively, and artisans are fully supported from an administrative perspective.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the preventative maintenance schedule
- Issue and track maintenance job cards
- Capture maintenance data and ensure accurate record keeping
- Raise purchase orders and obtain supplier quotations
- Follow up on outstanding orders and deliveries
- Coordinate supplier and contractor documentation
- Maintain spare parts registers and monitor stock levels
- Compile weekly and monthly maintenance reports
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the maintenance team
Requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience in an administrative role within a manufacturing or technical environment
- Experience working with purchase orders and supplier coordination
- Exposure to preventative maintenance systems
- Strong MS Excel skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
