Cape Town City Centre: Mid-Level Accountant

Key Responsibilities Working with a diverse portfolio of international clients (AU, EU, UK, SA), you will: Manage daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly accounting close tasks Prepare and submit VAT calculations and filings Prepare corporate tax schedules and submissions Assist junior colleagues with task completion Liaise with the financial reporting team to ensure accurate and timely preparation of annual financial statements Ensure compliance with CIPC requirements, SARS, and international accounting regulations Support senior colleagues with ad-hoc accounting and reporting tasks Required Skills & Experience 25 years experience in an accounting or bookkeeping firm (non-negotiable) Professional accounting qualification (PA(SA) Strong knowledge of VAT, CIPC requirements, SARS e-filing, and international regulations (AU/EU) Proficiency in MS Office, Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, DEXT, Asana Highly structured, process-driven, and detail-oriented Whats On Offer Full training and hands-on support to ensure you thrive in your role Participation in a bi-annual incentive bonus scheme After 1 year : hybrid working option and financial support for further studies Annual in-person team gathering in February Work in a modern, collaborative office environment in Observatory, Cape Town Remuneration: R18 000 – R23 000 monthly Benefits Please note that only Shortlisted candidates will be contacted
