About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a People generalist, you will play a critical role in managing the recruitment and selection process, providing guidance on employee relations matters, and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment and selection process in line with business needs
  • Provide ongoing guidance and support to management and employees on employee relations matters
  • Offer effective and efficient People Management advice and guidance to staff and management team
  • Manage employee performance and individual training plans and processes
  • Ensure compliance with legislative reporting requirements related to Employment Equity and the Skills Development Act
  • Responsible for the Learning and Development function
  • Maintain confidentiality on employees’ records and information on site in alignment with applicable legal requirements
  • Participate in specific People projects and initiatives

Requirements

  • Human Resources Degree or Industrial Psychology Degree
  • Sage 300 Labour, BEE, BCEA, SLP Knowledge
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Mine Health and Safety Certification (must be obtained within a reasonable timeframe)
