About the Role
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized QC Administrator to join our team in Cape Town City Centre on a fixed-term contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for capturing and maintaining accurate QC data across various production processes, as well as providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our quality control functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture and maintain accurate QC data across various production processes
- Record, track, and report on non-conformances (NCs) across multiple departments
- Analyse QC data and compile daily, weekly, and monthly reports
- Maintain QC documentation, records, and filing systems
- Capture and manage non-conformance data on Syspro, ensuring full traceability
- Assist with investigations into customer complaints and supplier-related issues
- Support reporting on faulty materials and supplier claims
- Manage material certificates and allocate materials for approval
- Create and maintain client certificates and related documentation
- Assist with calibration tracking, certificate filing, and register updates
- Support the creation and updating of work instructions, procedures, and QC documents
- Provide general QC administration and coordination across departments
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- 2 – 3 years’ experience in an administrative role, ideally within manufacturing or QC
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Experience working on Syspro (advantageous)
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and manage high volumes of information
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
