About the Role

The Quality Control Supervisor is a critical role within our organisation, responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and supervisory experience in an analytical laboratory setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality control tests on raw materials and finished goods
  • Review and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Investigate and resolve quality control issues
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements

  • Qualification in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Food Technology
  • Minimum of 5 years previous experience working in an analytical laboratory in the Cosmetic or Pharmaceutical field
  • Supervisory experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of Quality Management System such as ISO 9001, ISO 22716, SANAS 1841, GLP, and GMP
  • HPLC and experience reviewing artwork is an advantage

Qualifications

  • Formal education/certifications in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Food Technology (Bachelor’s degree required)
