About the Role
The Iconic Hotel, based in Cape Town, is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Plan Coordinator to support the development, coordination, and execution of strategic marketing plans within a luxury hospitality environment. As a key member of our marketing team, you will contribute to creating impactful brand storytelling, enhancing guest experiences, and ensuring all marketing initiatives align with brand standards and deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute annual and quarterly marketing plans aligned with business objectives
- Support the rollout of campaigns, promotions, and brand initiatives across multiple channels
- Liaise with internal departments (Sales, Revenue, Operations) to ensure aligned messaging and execution
- Collaborate with external agencies, designers, and media partners to deliver marketing collateral
- Manage timelines, budgets, and reporting for marketing activities
- Ensure all content and campaigns comply with brand guidelines and luxury positioning
- Monitor campaign performance and compile marketing reports and insights
- Assist with digital marketing, social media coordination, and website updates
- Support PR activities, events, and on-property activations
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a marketing role within the hotel or hospitality industry
- Proven track record of coordinating and executing marketing plans
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
- Solid understanding of digital marketing, social media, and brand management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Creative mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English (additional language advantageous)
