Job Summary

A well-established group of companies is seeking a professional and well-spoken Receptionist to join their team. This role is ideal for a confident and organised individual who thrives in a front-facing administrative environment. You will be the first point of contact for clients and guests, and play a key role in ensuring efficient communication and administrative support within the office. Key Responsibilities: Switchboard & Front Desk: Answer and manage a multi-company switchboard professionally. Direct calls and handle inquiries efficiently. Take and relay accurate messages to relevant staff members. Greet visitors warmly and manage walk-in queries. Administrative Support: Maintain and organise the office filing system (staff documentation, permits, etc.). Perform ad-hoc data capturing and general admin duties. Coordinate boardroom bookings and calendar invites for meetings. Provide assistance with permit and wayleave applications, when required. Requirements: Grade 12 / Senior Certificate Minimum of 1 year in a similar reception or front office role Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English) Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong organisational and time-management abilities Presentable and professional demeanour Reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented Remuneration & Benefits: Gross Monthly Salary: R12 500 Pension Fund: 5% Employer & 5% Employee contribution Annual 13th cheque (paid in birthday month) 15 working days annual leave (includes compulsory December shutdown) Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00 Friday: 08:00 – 15:00 IMPORTANT: Applications close 30 June 2025 Only applications submitted via the Ditto Jobs platform will be considered Only candidates who are shortlisted will be contacted No social media messages / comments will be responded to

Job Summary

JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for managing reception area, greeting visitors, handling inquiries, client liaison, connection of all group company switchboards as a first point of contact and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the office as requested. REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements: Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate) High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Minimum of 1 years experience in a similar role Skills Required: Fully proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Excellent professional work ethic and demeanour Problem solving skills Excellent time management and organisational skills Excellent communication skills on all levels Fully multilingual (English/Xhosa/Afrikaans) SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Managing Switchboard: Answering group switchboard and handling telephonic queries when relevant. Taking messages and distributing them to relevant employees timeously. Addressing all calls and visitors in a friendly and professional manner. 2. General administration: Upkeep of filing system (employee documents, wayleave and permits etc.). Data capturing as and when required. Walk-in visitors (good communication and language skills required). Scheduling boardroom meetings as and when requested send relevant calendar notifications to all attendees. Assisting with wayleave and permit applications as allocated by Contract Manager. IN ADDITION: This job description is by no means exhaustive of duties and responsibilities that may be requested from the employee. The employee will be expected to perform any task, within the scope of his/her abilities, in order to ensure the good productive functioning. This job description will be an important tool for training and development as well as a guideline to minimum performance standards.

Job Summary

Our client a leader in the Spirits production and distribution is seeking a Receptionist to join their team based in Cape Town MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Matric / Grade 12 is essential Relevant administrative qualification is essential Previous Experience in FMCG: A minimum of 5 years relevant experience is essential. Experience within an FMCG industry or similar fast-paced environment would be preferred. Process Improvement: Experience in refining administrative processes. Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different departments MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS Greet and Assist Visitors : Welcome guests warmly, provide directions, and ensure they are properly signed in and escorted to their destinations. Manage Phone Calls: Answer, redirect, and handle phone calls professionally, ensuring timely communication with staff and external parties. Administrative Support: Assist with scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements for staff. Mail and Packages: Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and courier services. Office Supplies: Maintain inventory of office supplies and order as necessary. Reception Area Maintenance: Ensure the reception area is tidy and well-presented at all times. Data Entry : Update records and databases as required. Event Coordination: Assist with setting up meeting rooms and arranging catering for internal events. Security and Access Control: Monitor visitor access and ensure compliance with company security protocols Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively Customer Service: Friendly and professional demeanor with a focus on customer satisfaction. Technical Skills: Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and ability to learn company-specific systems.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities: Greet all guests with a warm and friendly manner Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using the hotels property management system Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner Provide information about the hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities Take and manage reservations, either via phone, email, or in person Process payments, issue invoices, and maintain accurate records Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments as needed Ensure the reception area is tidy and welcoming at all times Uphold all hotel policies, procedures, and safety regulations Requirements: Previous experience in a front desk or customer-facing role, preferably in hospitality Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in using computers and hotel booking systems (e.g., Opera, Protel, or similar) Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure A friendly, approachable, and service-oriented attitude High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality qualification is a plus Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
