About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Roads Engineer to lead the design and delivery of major road infrastructure projects in Cape Town City Centre. The successful candidate will oversee project lifecycle, manage contracts, and provide strategic input, technical leadership, and mentorship to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of major road infrastructure projects
  • Oversee project lifecycle from concept to construction
  • Manage contracts and ensure commercial and technical compliance
  • Provide strategic input, technical leadership, and mentorship
  • Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years experience in roads and transport infrastructure
  • Proven leadership in project delivery and contract management
  • Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D or similar design software
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of industry standards
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Qualifications

  • BEng / BTech in Civil Engineering
  • Professionally Registered (PR Eng / PR Tech Eng preferred)
