Job Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve the sales targets and drive revenue growth within the branch. Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and growth objectives. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales tactics and strategies accordingly. Set individual sales targets for the team and monitor their performance. Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to enhance performance and achieve sales targets. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify training needs. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Act as a point of contact for key clients, promptly addressing any issues or concerns. Develop strategies to expand the customer base and improve customer satisfaction. Oversee the daily sales operation s, including order processing and customer service. Ensure compliance with all sales policies, procedures, and standards. Prepare and present regular sales reports to the Branch Manager. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and product knowledge. Provide training and resources to the sales team on new products and industry trends. Work closely with marketing, operations, and other departments to ensure alignment and optimise sales efforts. Participate in strategic planning meetings and provide insights on sales performance and market trends. Essential Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Ability to analyse sales data and market trends to inform strategies Proficiency in CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite / G suit & Google Workspace. Beneficial Requirements: Experience in the business-critical technical field Bachelor’s degree in a Technical, Sales/Marketing, or a related field Experience in using advanced sales analytics tools Familiarity with digital sales and marketing strategies Certification in sales management or related fields

Job Summary

Job description: The Waste Control Division currently has a vacancy for a Sales Manager who is professional, self-motivated, and results-oriented. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the sales team and ensuring that sales targets are achieved. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Create and implement sales plans and strategies for the department Ensure that new business leads are followed up at all times Setting sales goals and targets for the department and ensure that the goals and targets are met Building and maintaining professional relationships with other divisions of SA Metal Group Build and promote strong customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their business needs Present sales and revenue reports and realistic forecasts to senior management Approving sales quotations and managing tender applications and processes Continuously identifying areas within the sales department in which the business can improve and implementing such improvement Minimum Qualifying Requirements: A relevant tertiary qualification. 5 to 8 years of experience in a sales or marketing role. 3 to 5 years of experience in sales management, including leading and developing a sales team. Proficiency in both English and Afrikaans. Experience in related industries such as waste management, recycling, or industrial cleaning. Working knowledge of waste management practices is advantageous. Knowledge and experience with tender processes and related documentation. Practical experience in budgeting and financial reporting. Computer literate – full Microsoft suite Valid Code 08 license and own reliable vehicle Good problem solving skills Must be able to work in a pressurized and demanding environment Attributes: Strong organisational and admin skills Accurate and attention to detail Self-motivated The ability to communicate effectively and clearly Ability to multi-task and manage a demanding workload in a pressurised environment Willing to work overtime as the job demands Ability to detect and solve problems Strong sense of integrity Strong leadership skills Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Team player Good time-management skills Proven strong interpersonal and communication skills Other Information: Job title: Sales Manager Reporting to: General Manager and Directors of SA Metal Group Job type: Permanent position Benefits include: Provident fund Medical aid Life cover at 4x annual salary Funeral cover 15 x paid leave days per annum Vehicle Allowance Company cellphone Long service leave after five years of employment Standard hours: 07:30 – 17:00 Monday – Thursday 07:30 – 16:00 Fridays We regret that it is not possible to contact all unsuccessful applicants. Job Summary

The Sales Managers at The Royal Portfolio are responsible for developing and maintaining global sales and industry relationships, in order to drive increased business to our properties. This ensures that we can continue to deliver on our company purpose, which is “to give our guests a complete experience and a perfect stay” . MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Sales & Lead generation – Regular meetings, product training, site visits and educationals with travel trade partners. Continually look for opportunities to bring in new business and grow the current client base. Look for ways to collaborate with partners in the luxury space, thereby expanding the company’s reach and exposure. Marketing, Reservations and Revenue Strategy – Collaborate with marketing, communications, reservations and revenue teams to maximise occupancy and yield. Reporting – Regular reporting on sales activity, feedback, enquiries, conversions, questions and concerns. Keeping the CRM up to date. Constant research on market intelligence. Communication – Ensure comprehensive communication with clients to ensure all of their queries are addressed accurately and timeously. Travel & Trade shows – Travel locally and internationally , representing the company in agency offices and at local & international travel shows. REQUIREMENTS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPECTATIONS At least 5 years’ experience in a Sales Manager position in Hospitality or Inbound Tourism, in the luxury market. Proven track record and strong, existing relationships with international Agents and Operators A sound understanding of luxury hospitality brands and their offerings. Well mannered, self-motivated, positive and eager to learn. Sophisticated communication skills – written and verbal. Highly responsive and efficient. A flexible approach to working hours, bearing in mind global time differences. Ability to travel for extended periods (business meetings, trade shows, educationals, etc). Previous International travel experience and travel trade show experience is a must. A tertiary qualification in Marketing/ Business Management/ Hospitality or a related field is a distinct advantage. It is important that the candidate is able to work as part of a team and is a good cultural fit for The Royal Portfolio. South African citizenship is advantageous. A valid work permit is essential if you are not in possession of a South African ID document.

Job Summary

Sales Manager Market-related Package Cape Town Join our team as a Sales Manager and lead our external sales function in the Cape Town Hub and Port Elizabeth Depot. This role offers the opportunity to drive strategic growth, manage a high-performing sales team, and contribute directly to the success of a leading brand in the rental and logistics industry. Role Purpose To manage and grow revenue by leading a motivated sales team, ensuring effective territory coverage, quote conversion, and strong client relationships across the Cape Town Hub and PE Depot. You’ll also contribute to developing and executing regional sales strategies while maintaining a competitive edge in the market. Key Responsibilities Set and track performance goals for the sales team Identify and implement revenue growth strategies Drive lead conversion and opportunity follow-through Strengthen customer relationships and expand market reach Monitor competitor activity and adjust strategies accordingly Uphold internal policies and ensure operational excellence Coach and mentor the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture Qualifications and Experience Grade 12 (Matric) BCom Sales & Marketing degree or IMM Diploma is advantageous 4–5 years of sales management experience in a corporate or semi-corporate environment Proven track record of managing a successful sales team General business management knowledge Exposure to a trade desk environment and the rental/logistics sector is advantageous
