About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales Manager to join our team at our Bellville branch. As a leading provider of essential services specializing in Risk Management, Fire Equipment, Detection and Sprinkler systems, First Aid, and associated training services, we require a sales professional with exceptional business-to-business sales experience and strong leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage time effectively to meet sales targets and deadlines
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and cold canvassing
  • Generate new leads and manage the sales pipeline
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services

Requirements

  • Business-to-business sales experience with a proven track record of success
  • Excellent customer relationship building and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans (beneficial)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our team in driving business growth and revenue targets in Cape Town City Centre. As the face of our organisation, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies that meet the needs of our ideal customers. With a proven track record of achieving sales objectives and leading high-performing teams, we are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage organisational sales by developing and implementing a business plan covering sales targets, revenue growth, and expense control.
  • Achieve planned sales objectives and revenue goals.
  • Set individual sales targets in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Monitor and track sales performance, reporting results as required.
  • Oversee the daily activities and overall performance of the sales team.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to support effective lead generation.
  • Ensure ongoing training and development of sales staff.
  • Develop the sales team through motivation, coaching, counselling, and continuous product knowledge education.
  • Promote the organisation and its products in a professional and effective manner.
  • Contribute to overall team success by achieving related objectives as required.

Requirements

  • 23 years of experience in a similar role (advantageous).
  • Valid Code 8 drivers licence.
  • Matric qualification or higher.
  • Commercial sales experience.
  • Proven experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
  • Experience in customer relationship management.
  • Experience in managing and leading a sales team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Qualifications

  • Completed degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (if applicable).
  • Relevant industry certifications or training programs (if applicable).
