Job Description

About the Role

The purpose of a direct sales representative is to promote the products and services of ICTEngage to current and new clients in order to generate revenue. This role requires building relationships with existing client databases, identifying business opportunities, and meeting or exceeding monthly sales quotas while increasing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Builds direct base by meeting with potential clients and educating them on the benefits of our products
  • Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry
  • Signs up new clients
  • Facilitates client orders and roll-out, managing expectations based on standard processes and procedures
  • Acts as point of contact and handles clients’ individual needs
  • Sets up demo meetings with clients, when required
  • Generates quotes and proposals for clients
  • Gets the necessary documents needed for the sales process from the client
  • Keeps clients up to date with progress of orders
  • Plans the installation with internal and 3rd party vendors
  • Tests to ensure the solution is working correctly once completed
  • Plans a site survey to determine clients’ existing infrastructure setup and current call-flow
  • Arranges 3CX system training for end-users
  • Performs POCs at clients for 3CX and certain connectivity
  • Completes proactive customer goodwill calls to ensure their experience with our products and services matches their expectations and that they are satisfied
  • Handles direct sales complaints by investigating the problem, developing a solution, and making recommendations to the department manager
  • Responds to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within a specified timeframe
  • Builds a relationship with existing client database to ensure repeat sales
  • Plans and organizes daily work schedule to ensure efficient time management
  • Creates reports based on performance for submission to the department manager (may include: weekly call reports, weekly work schedule, monthly sales figures)
  • Reports on status of accounts and clients
  • Ensures all paperwork is received
  • Gets approval from client once site is complete
  • Arranges for sign off
  • Arranges for payment
  • Liaises with technical on specific solution requests
  • Manages CRM integrations
  • Handles complex routing requirements
  • Conducts market research to find out what the competitor has to offer
  • Maintains current functional and technical knowledge of the entire products and service offering of ICTEngage and improved sales techniques
  • Prepares sales presentations and demonstrations to give to prospective clients
  • Takes part in marketing events held
  • Increases sales by means of cross-selling, up-selling, and add-on sales
  • Presents a professional image at all times to clients
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the department manager

Requirements

  • 2 years prior sales experience in similar role
  • Highly organized and efficient
  • Customer service orientated
  • Knowledge and experience of working on a CRM system
  • Knowledge and experience of working with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to work under pressurized environment and meet monthly targets
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Self-starter and able to work independently
  • Committed, positive, and hardworking
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)
