About the Role
We have an amazing opportunity for an Engineering Manager in Cape Town at Goldman Tech. We require a candidate with extensive experience in web software development and leadership, along with expertise in Python web development and relational databases.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Software Engineering teams
- Handle salary reviews and increases
- Collaborate on Scrum-based agile projects
- Implement JavaScript / Angular, HTML 5, CSS, SQL REST APIs
- Develop applications using One or more of the following languages: C++, C#, Java, Python, Kotlin, Scala, Ruby on Rails
Requirements
- +8 years of web software development experience
- +2 years of experience managing a Software Engineering team
- Demonstrable track record of working with relational databases
- Experience working in an agile team managed by Scrum
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in relevant field (if applicable)
