About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Occupational Health Registered Nurse to join our team at SD Recruitment (Pty) Ltd in Cape Town. As a key member of our occupational health department, you will play a vital role in promoting employee well-being and workplace safety across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-employment, periodic, and exit medical assessments off site
- Perform health surveillance and screenings (audiometry, spirometry, vision, etc.) off site
- Provide primary healthcare support within workplace settings off site
- Monitor chronic conditions and support health promotion initiatives
- Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure legal compliance
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to safety protocols
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current SANC registration
- Occupational Health Nursing qualification (essential)
- Audiometry and Spirometry certification (essential)
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable car (essential)
- Knowledge of OHSA, COIDA, and occupational health protocols
- Excellent clinical judgement and communication skills
- Own transport and flexibility to travel to client sites
