About the Role
Join an innovative Software Solutions company in Cape Town, South Africa, seeking a skilled Mid Senior Java Developer to contribute to our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality web applications using Java standard edition and JEE.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop web applications using Java standard edition and JEE.
- Implement Spring Framework, including Spring Security and MVC.
- Work with Tomcat and manage PostgreSQL and Oracle databases.
- Utilize Java Open-Source Libraries and experience with online transaction processing.
- Develop multi-threaded programs and solve concurrency issues.
- Implement reliable messaging using TCP, HTTP, XML, SOAP, and REST.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Java standard edition and JEE (mostly related to web applications).
- Experience working with Spring Framework, including Spring Security and MVC.
- Familiarity with Tomcat.
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL and Oracle databases.
- Well-versed in Java Open-Source Libraries.
- Experience with GWT (Google Web Toolkit), Git, Mybatis, Gradle, JMeter, Artifactory, SQL, and Linux.
Qualifications
- Formal education or certifications in Computer Science or related field (not specified).
