About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking a talented Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic client’s team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the payroll process for a range of clients, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payroll while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll for employees accurately and on time.
- Calculate and manage payroll deductions, taxes, and benefits.
- Maintain employee payroll records and ensure compliance with all applicable laws.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports and summaries.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and perform year-end reporting.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in accounting or finance is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll practices and relevant legislation.
- Familiarity with payroll software (e.g., QuickBooks, ADP).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving skills to address payroll discrepancies.
