Cape Town: Procurement Specialist – Electronics Manufacturing – R550k – R450k posted by Hire Resolve

Hire Resolves client in the Electronics Manufacturing industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Procurement Specialist to join their team in the Cape Town, Western Cape.

Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement process for electronic components and materials from local and international suppliers
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve lead times
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms
• Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with quality and delivery requirements
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate forecasting to avoid material shortages
• Collaborate with R&D and production teams to identify sourcing opportunities and optimize design for supply chain efficiency
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and identify opportunities to implement new technologies and processes to improve procurement performance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist in the Electronics Manufacturing industry
• Knowledge of procurement processes and sourcing strategies
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and ERP systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be situated in the Western Cape
