About the Role

Karen Tupper Recruitment is seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee multiple stores across the Cape Town region for our growing group of health cafés. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational performance, supporting Store Managers, and ensuring excellent service standards across all locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations across multiple café stores
  • Manage and support Store Managers and Supervisors
  • Monitor store performance, service standards, and operational efficiency
  • Assist with staff recruitment, training, and performance management
  • Conduct regular store visits and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Resolve operational and staff-related issues

Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in hospitality/food service (advantageous)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a management/supervisory role within hospitality or food service
  • Strong leadership and operational management skills
  • Valid Driver’s License (Code B) and own reliable transport
