About the Role
Fusion Personnel is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead our planning department and drive operational excellence in East Rand. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial engineering, leadership, and lean manufacturing, with excellent problem-solving skills and knowledge of industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning department and mentor team members.
- Oversee drafting, process planning, and project fabrication.
- Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
- Drive continuous improvement and equipment reliability.
- Manage budgets, schedules, and resources for on-time delivery.
- Use software to generate reports, schedules, and insights.
Requirements
- NQF Level 7 in Industrial Engineering.
- 5+ years’ industrial engineering experience, including 2+ years in leadership.
- Knowledge of MS Power BI, Python, or SQL is a plus.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and lean manufacturing knowledge.
