About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Financial Manager to join our client’s hospitality group in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the management of financial operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial statements
  • Manage budgets
  • Handle audits
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations
  • Support senior finance management in strategic financial planning
  • Oversee bookkeeper to ensure tasks and deadlines are met and transactions are recorded accurately
  • Provide financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve business objectives

Requirements
