About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-driven eCommerce Senior Product Coordinator to join our retail business in Cape Town. As a pivotal operations role at the heart of our digital product lifecycle, you will be responsible for ensuring that products are accurately and efficiently loaded and maintained on our website. Your coordination and attention to detail will directly impact our ability to trade online.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the product onboarding process – ensuring product data, images, descriptions, pricing and stock statuses are provided, tracked & completed on time.
• Maintain and update the websites product catalogue and category structure for accuracy, consistency and optimal customer experience.
• Manage site promotions, product launches and content updates in line with trade plans and marketing calendars.
• Troubleshoot issues related to missing or incorrect product data & resolve blockers in the publishing process.
• Liaise closely with internal teams such as Merchandise, Marketing & Photography Studio to ensure all product information is aligned and deadlines are met.
• Perform regular quality checks to ensure accuracy of live content across the site.
• Supply accurate product lists for marketing campaigns and ensure promotional products are correctly set up.
• Support eCommerce team with general site operations and ad hoc initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 25 years experience in an eCommerce, retail operations, or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working with large datasets (e.g. product lists, attributes, pricing).
• Experience working with eCommerce platforms (e.g. Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, etc.).
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple stakeholders.
• Project coordination or process management experience is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with website QA, merchandising, or catalogue management is a plus.
