About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is currently recruiting a reliable and detail-driven Finance Administrator to support the financial and administrative heartbeat of a premier luxury boutique hotel in Cape Town. Reporting to the finance and management teams, the successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate processing of financial data and the seamless flow of daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute the daily creation and processing of purchase orders in strict accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain the daily cash management spreadsheet, verify payment requests, and distribute proofs of payment to all relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct rigorous End of Day (EOD) checks to validate revenue accuracy and update the daily revenue workbook.
- Manage the digital and physical archiving of invoices using SharePoint and other dedicated filing systems.
- Provide essential administrative support during stock takes by preparing count sheets for operational departments.
- Capture results accurately into the designated systems and maintain the monthly inventory workbook.
- Facilitate EFTSure verification processes and provide general financial and administrative assistance to the property management teams.
- Ensure all financial information is handled with absolute discretion, maintaining high standards of corporate governance and internal document control.
Requirements
A minimum of 1 year of established experience in an administrative or accounting role, preferably within a luxury hospitality or boutique hotel environment. Grade 12 / Matric is essential; further introductory accounting or administrative certification is advantageous.
