Location: Cape Town (Candidates must already reside in Cape Town relocation candidates will not be considered) Salary: R30,000 R35,000 (depending on experience and qualifications) Benefits: Retirement annuity of R500 per month after 1 year Working Hours: Monday Friday 08:00 16:30 (Overtime required during month-end, audit periods, and deadlines) Available Positions: 1 Start Date: As soon as possible Key Responsibilities: · Financial Processing: Process financial transactions and prepare management reports. · Debtors Management: Create invoices, send statements, and follow up on outstanding accounts. · Payments: Prepare payments and distribute proof of payments. · Finance Administration: Manage the finance mailbox and financial records. · Asset Management: Maintain the fixed asset register. · VAT & Tax: Prepare monthly VAT returns and reconciliations. · Intercompany Reconciliations: Reconcile intercompany balances at month-end. · Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits. · Reporting & Analysis: Report financial discrepancies and support financial reporting. · Continuous Improvement: Recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Job Requirements: · Degree in Accounting or Finance (Compulsory). · SAIPA/SAICA qualification advantageous. · 24 years financial experience OR completed SAIPA/SAICA articles (Compulsory). · Strong knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software (Pastel & Xero).
