About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Revenue Analyst to support our Revenue Management team across a portfolio of luxury properties in Cape Town. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate reporting, insightful analysis, and data-driven decision-making — enabling Revenue Managers to act quickly and strategically in a dynamic market.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports across all properties
- Track pickup, pace, and overall performance trends
- Compile weekly and monthly performance packs for review
- Ensure all reporting is accurate, timely, and aligned with business needs
- Maintain dashboards and reporting tools, ensuring reliability and accuracy
- Validate data sources and resolve discrepancies proactively
- Support ongoing automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes
- Conduct competitor and market analysis
- Identify performance gaps, risks, and revenue opportunities
- Provide actionable insights to support pricing and strategy discussions (in collaboration with Revenue Managers)
- Flag risks early (e.g. low pickup, demand gaps) and recommend corrective actions
- Support Revenue Managers with data preparation for strategy meetings
- Respond to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests
- Contribute to a culture of data-driven decision-making across the portfolio
Requirements
- Experience in a Revenue Analyst / Data Analyst role (hospitality advantageous)
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Advanced Excel and reporting skills (BI tools advantageous)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly
- Proactive, solutions-driven mindset
