Employer Description 5-star Hotel in Cape Town Job Description Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead their team and drive excellence across all F&B operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, financial acumen and a passion for delivering exceptional service. Key Responsibilities: Manage Food & Beverage finance and administration, including budgets, financial analysis, management systems and reporting. Access and implement human resource policies and legislative requirements. Apply the latest technology and regulations to source and purchase stock. Develop and implement concepts, policies, procedures and strategies for the Food & Beverage department and all service areas. Ensure quality assurance measures for supplies, storeroom and cold storage. Oversee contractual arrangements and vendor relationships. Facilitate effective interdepartmental cooperation. Drive revenue growth from existing business and proactively create new opportunities. Work collaboratively or independently to uphold high service standards. Qualifications Matric (NQF 4). Relevant Hospitality Qualification Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role. Must have 4 / 5 star hotel experience and have worked or has conference experience – NON NEGOTIABLE Proven experience in stock management, purchasing, business strategy development, market research, competitor analysis and report writing. Strong management background in product improvement, service delivery across all F&B areas, team leadership, and staff development. Skills Financial management and analytical skills. Strong leadership and team development abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinking and problem-solving. Knowledge of F&B trends, technology and regulatory compliance. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure. Negotiation and contract management expertise.
