- Support and assist the Cold Store Manager in daily operations
- Supervise and manage staff workloads across multiple teams
- Oversee cold chain management and stock integrity
- Ensure accurate stock allocation, picking, loading, and dispatch processes
- Verify product condition, quantities, and documentation accuracy
- Manage warehouse management system (WMS) / SAP processes and stock control
- Ensure all sales orders and returns are processed correctly
- Monitor and resolve operational issues and problem orders
- Coordinate with logistics, production, trading, and other departments
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and housekeeping standards
- Oversee loading and offloading of containers according to procedures and schedules
- Ensure quality control checks are completed for incoming and outgoing goods
- Report equipment breakdowns and operational risks to maintenance
- Maintain accurate shift reports (damages, shortages, expired stock, etc.)
- Ensure damaged stock is reprocessed and returned to inventory where applicable
- Enforce SOP compliance across all teams and processes
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Qualification in Logistics or Warehouse Management (advantageous)
- Computer literate (Excel, Word, Microsoft Office)
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP system (preferred)
