Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Service

  • Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations aligned with pricing strategies.
  • Process sales orders accurately and ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within the product range.
  • Support external sales representatives with account management activities.

Order Management & Administration

  • Capture and manage sales orders on the ERP/CRM system.
  • Liaise with warehouse, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure product availability and delivery timelines.
  • Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates to customers.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales data.

Product & Technical Support

  • Provide basic technical guidance on chemical products (training will be provided where necessary).
  • Ensure correct product specifications and compliance with safety standards.
  • Assist customers with product documentation such as Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

Market & Sales Support

  • Assist in preparing sales reports and forecasts.
  • Track customer buying patterns and provide insights to management.
  • Support marketing campaigns and promotions.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and industry developments.

Experience

  • 2–5 years’ experience in an internal sales or customer service role
  • Experience within the chemical, manufacturing, industrial, or related sector preferred
  • Proven track record in sales support and order processing
