About the Role
Aleon Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Tactical Response Officer to join our team in Cape Town. As a key member of our security team, you will provide visible patrolling on sites, immediate armed reaction and escorting, incident management, close protection and operational support for critical services that support the operations of the company. Your exceptional communication skills, firearm competency, and PSIRA registration (minimum Grade D) are essential to excel in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Escort high-value cargo as well as individuals during transit via established routes to destination by driving behind and or in front of it as per SOP.
- Respond to threats without posing a risk to the public.
- Follow company policies and procedures when reporting incidents.
- Operate escorting vehicle according to traffic rules and South African laws.
- Anticipate possible threats while in transit.
- Perform arrests on any intruders or other offenders, they are to be kept in your custody.
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent (NQF level 4).
- PSIRA Registered (Minimum Grade D).
- One (1) to three (3) years Armed Response experience.
- Exceptional telephone etiquette and communication skills.
