About the Role
Kuzuko Lodge, a Private Game Reserve and Five Star Lodge in the Eastern Cape, is seeking an experienced Duty Manager to assist overseeing daily operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring seamless lodge operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact and manager on duty, overseeing lodge operations.
- Deliver exceptional guest service.
- Monitor and uphold the highest standard of cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation across the property.
- Handle guest billing, check-ins/check-outs, and other operational processes where required.
- Ensure full compliance within the lodge.
- Coordinate with all departments to anticipate and exceed guest needs.
- Manage emergency situations calmly and effectively.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a 5-star property.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and inspire teams.
- Experience of Front Office operation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Professional demeanor and a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Experience working with Semper or similar POS and PMS system.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evening, weekends, and public holidays.
