About the Role
A well-established and reputable Assurance and Accounting firm in the northern suburbs of Cape Town is seeking to employ SAICA Trainee Accountants for the 2026 intake. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates wanting to obtain a SAICA training contract with a well-established, reputable and rapidly growing assurance firm where they will receive excellent training and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform audit work.
- Produce client reports.
- Complete tax returns.
- Finalise an audit file and propose an audit opinion.
- Manage personal performance.
- Work effectively in teams.
- Uphold ethics and values and act with integrity.
- Write clearly and succinctly.
- Set clear objectives and plan activities.
- Work productively and in a challenging environment.
Requirements
- Completed Accounting/Auditing degree at a SAICA-accredited university.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Drivers license and own transport.
Qualifications
- BAccounting , BAccHons degree, Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting Sciences, Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Accounting Sciences.
Salary & Benefits
R15,000 to R19,000 per month, depending on qualifications. Performance bonuses.
