Job Description

Hire Resolves client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Zoho CRM Specialist to join their growing team in Cape Town. This pivotal role will be responsible for the comprehensive administration, customization, and optimization of their Zoho CRM system and its integration with other Zoho applications and third-party tools. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of CRM best practices and a passion for leveraging technology to streamline business processes and enhance customer relationships, particularly within an AI-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the configuration, daily management, and ongoing optimization of Zoho CRM to align with the client’s business objectives, including sales pipelines, marketing campaigns, lead management, customer support, and project tracking.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, addressing issues related to data consistency, user permissions, and functionality.
  • Regularly review and update CRM settings, data fields, layouts, and user roles to maintain optimal functionality, security, and data integrity.
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom modules, fields, layouts, and automation workflows within Zoho CRM to streamline business processes.
  • Utilize Zoho Deluge scripting for custom functions, integrations, and advanced automations across various Zoho applications (e.g., Zoho Campaigns, Zoho Desk, Zoho Analytics, Zoho Projects).
  • Implement and manage data validation rules, deduplication processes, and custom scoring to prioritize leads and ensure data quality.
  • Integrate Zoho CRM with other client platforms, internal tools, and third-party applications (e.g., marketing automation platforms, accounting software, communication tools, AI models) using APIs, webhooks, and Zoho’s integration capabilities.
  • Ensure seamless data flow and consistency across all connected systems.
  • Develop and maintain robust reporting dashboards and analytics within Zoho CRM and Zoho Analytics to provide actionable insights on sales performance, marketing effectiveness, and customer trends.
  • Provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to internal teams on Zoho CRM features, best practices, and new functionalities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user issues, addressing data inconsistencies, errors, and system concerns to maintain productivity.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation on Zoho CRM configurations, workflows, and processes.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, operations, and technical teams to understand their requirements and translate them into effective CRM solutions.
  • Stay abreast of the latest Zoho CRM updates, new features, and industry best practices, proposing relevant enhancements to continuously improve system capabilities and business outcomes.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning for CRM utilization, identifying opportunities to leverage Zoho’s AI capabilities (e.g., Zia, predictive analytics) to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Zoho CRM Administrator or Specialist.
  • Proven experience with Zoho CRM configuration, customization, and workflow automation.
  • Demonstrable expertise in Zoho Deluge scripting for custom functions and integrations.
