About the Role
Oostelike Personeel Konsultante is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Centurion: Debtors Creditors Clerk to join our team in Sunderland Ridge, Centurion. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full accounts receivable (Debtors) and accounts payable (Creditors) functions, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, timely collections, and efficient supplier payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue customer invoices, credit notes, and statements accurately and on time.
- Proactively contact debtors via phone, email, and mail to follow up on outstanding and overdue accounts.
- Accurately allocate customer payments against their respective invoices and reconcile the debtors ledger.
- Investigate and resolve all customer account queries promptly and professionally.
- Maintain and report on the age analysis of debtor accounts and collections progress.
- Process new credit applications and maintain up-to-date and accurate customer records.
Requirements
- Skills in financial record-keeping, cash flow management, and supplier payments.
- Experience with accounting systems and general ledger coding.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective query resolution and supplier liaison.
