About the Role

Hire Resolve are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our growing client’s insurance team in Centurion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, preferably in the insurance industry, and be able to effectively manage all financial activities within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to ensure the long-term financial stability of the organization
Manage the budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes
Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to senior management
Oversee the preparation of financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Manage the internal control systems and recommend improvements to enhance financial performance
Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial operations and achieve strategic objectives
Monitor financial performance and identify trends and opportunities for growth
Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals
Play a key role in strategic planning and decision-making processes

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g. CA, CTA, Hons) preferred
5+ years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role in the insurance industry
Strong knowledge of insurance financial reporting and regulatory requirements
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Proficiency in financial systems and software, including Microsoft Excel and ERP systems

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g. CA, CTA, Hons)
