Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and oversee the full financial function (FFF)
- Handle GL, reconciliations, TB, and assist with preparation up to FS
- Provide accurate and timeous financial support to operational teams
- Maintain cost controls and support project/operational costing
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Prepare management accounts and financial reports
- Work extensively on BuildSmart (construction)
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- BCom degree + completed articles
- 1+ years’ post-articles experience
- Construction industry experience highly beneficial
- Exposure to the full financial function (GL / recons / TB / FS)
- Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced, hands-on environment
