About the Role

Network Finance, a well-established and respected construction organisation, is seeking a skilled Centurion: Financial Accountant to join their growing finance team in Centurion. This permanent opportunity is ideal for a technically proficient finance professional who excels in a fast-paced, project-based environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong accounting controls, and supporting effective financial decision-making across multiple projects and business units.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and analyse monthly management accounts and annual financial statements
Maintain the general ledger and perform critical balance sheet reconciliations
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and internal controls
Deliver financial insights to improve reporting accuracy, cost control, and operational efficiency
Support project accounting and cost tracking within a construction-focused environment

Requirements

3–5 years’ experience in a full-function accounting role
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
Excellent analytical skills, with high attention to detail and strong organisational ability
Construction industry experience will be highly advantageous
Exposure to the full finance function (General Ledger, Reconciliations, Trial Balance)

Qualifications

BCom degree in Accounting or Finance
