About the Role
Construct Executive Search is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. We are looking for an experienced professional who can bring expertise in water infrastructure design and project management to drive success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop water infrastructure projects
- Manage GCC & JBCC contracts and handle claims
- Compile reports for all stages of project implementation
- Liaise with clients, contractors, other disciplines, and various stakeholders
- Collaborate on grant-funded projects such as MIG, WSIG, and RBIG
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree or Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience in managing GCC & JBCC Contracts and dealing with claims
- Experience in compiling reports for all stages of project implementation
- Experience in grant-funded projects such as MIG, WSIG, and RBIG
- Experience in liaising with clients, contractors, other disciplines, and various stakeholders
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D & Wadiso/Epanet
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering)
