About the Role
The Clothing Line Manager role at Fouche & Co Recruitment involves supervising a production line, ensuring targets are met while maintaining quality standards. The successful candidate will have strong factory experience and be able to drive efficiency and smooth communication between departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise a full production line
- Ensure daily production targets are achieved
- Monitor quality standards and address defects
- Allocate work to machinists based on skill level
- Oversee line balancing and workflow efficiency
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks
- Monitor attendance and productivity of staff
- Ensure adherence to production schedules
- Liaise with Cutting, Sewing, and Finishing teams
- Provide feedback to senior management on performance
- Train and guide staff to improve output and quality
- Maintain discipline and ensure factory procedures are followed
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in a clothing manufacturing environment
- Proven experience managing a production line
- Strong understanding of garment construction and sewing operations
- Knowledge of production processes and workflow management
- Basic understanding of line balancing and efficiency tracking
Qualifications
No formal education or certifications are required for this role.
Salary & Benefits
R8 000 – R10 000 per annum
