Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a Mid Level Interior Designer to manage and deliver interior design projects across luxury residential, retail, hospitality, and corporate environments in Umhlanga-Durban. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating inspiring spaces and guiding clients in selecting the perfect space.

Key Responsibilities

Lead projects from concept to installation with minimal supervision
Develop space planning, layouts, and design concepts
Prepare mood boards, material palettes, and presentations
Specify furniture, finishes, fabrics, and lighting
Produce 2D technical drawings and coordinate documentation
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and contractors
Conduct site visits, installations, and snagging
Support and mentor junior designers

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Interior Design / Interior Architecture
Strong AutoCAD skills; SketchUp/Revit advantageous
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
Excellent organisation, communication, and client-facing skills
Multi-sector project exposure
3D rendering experience
Valid drivers license
