About the Role
We are seeking a Mid Level Interior Designer to manage and deliver interior design projects across luxury residential, retail, hospitality, and corporate environments in Umhlanga-Durban. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating inspiring spaces and guiding clients in selecting the perfect space.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects from concept to installation with minimal supervision
- Develop space planning, layouts, and design concepts
- Prepare mood boards, material palettes, and presentations
- Specify furniture, finishes, fabrics, and lighting
- Produce 2D technical drawings and coordinate documentation
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and contractors
- Conduct site visits, installations, and snagging
- Support and mentor junior designers
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design / Interior Architecture
- Strong AutoCAD skills; SketchUp/Revit advantageous
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent organisation, communication, and client-facing skills
- Multi-sector project exposure
- 3D rendering experience
- Valid drivers license
