About the Role
Takora Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Civil Design Engineer to join our team in Durban. We are looking for a qualified professional with 5-8 years of experience in building civil design within the consulting engineering environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions that meet our clients’ needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from inception to completion
- Conduct site investigations and gather data
- Design and develop 3D models using Civil3D and Revit software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Develop and implement Automated Engineering and Augmented Design solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree or Bachelor of Technology Degree or Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering
- Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or as a Candidate Engineer
- 5-8 years of experience in building civil design within the consulting engineering environment
- Knowledge of civil standards, guidelines and working methods
- Proficient in Civil3D and Revit software
- Experience and proficiency with the use of 3D calculation software
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree or Bachelor of Technology Degree or Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
