About the Role
The Quality Controller will oversee all quality assurance processes from initial sample development through to bulk production, ensuring that products meet required standards and industry expectations. This role requires a strong focus on detail and process control, with excellent communication skills essential for collaboration with production teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily quality control processes across production
- Manage and maintain quality inspection reports
- Ensure compliance with industry and client quality standards
- Conduct quality checks on samples, including first fits
- Review lab dips and strike-offs for accuracy and approval
- Monitor product quality from development to bulk production
- Identify and resolve quality issues proactively
- Liaise with production teams to address quality concerns
- Maintain and update quality workbooks and documentation
- Ensure consistency in garment specifications
- Track and report on quality performance metrics
- Implement continuous improvements in quality processes
Requirements
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in workwear or clothing manufacturing
Experience working with quality workbooks
Knowledge of retailer and industry quality processes and procedures
Strong understanding of garment construction and production processes
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Qualifications
No formal qualifications are required for this role. However, relevant experience and skills will be assessed during the selection process.
Salary & Benefits
