Job Title: Spray Painter
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Spray Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint to various materials using a spray gun. The Spray Painter must have a keen eye for detail and be able to work efficiently to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary
- Select and mix paint colors to match specifications
- Apply paint to surfaces using a spray gun
- Ensure that paint is applied evenly and without drips or runs
- Monitor drying times and make adjustments as necessary
- Clean and maintain spray guns and other equipment
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the required standard
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Spray Painter or similar role
- Knowledge of painting techniques and materials
- Ability to mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Physical stamina and dexterity to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time
- High school diploma or equivalent
