About the Role
Kallos Group, a leading fresh fruit distributor based in Durbanville, Cape Town, is seeking an experienced Debtors & Financial Controller to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the group’s accounts receivable function and performing various financial duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
- Generate and distribute customer invoices, credit / debit notes, and statements
- Accurately allocate receipts
- Monitor customer credit limits and ensure compliance with company credit policies
- Prepare Aged Debtor Reports for weekly meetings and provide updates to management
- Resolve queries from customers and staff
- Liaise with the Commercial and Finance teams
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Diploma / Degree) in Finance, Accounting or related fields
- Experience in the fruit industry will be advantageous
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position
- Computer literate (MS Office)
- Experience on the QX system will be advantageous
