About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a Field Services Engineer to join their team in East London, Eastern Cape. The ideal candidate will provide 1st and 2nd line support and installation of various network equipment at customer sites, with a focus on Cisco and Huawei Customer equipment and Ascidian NID devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide solution and product specific consultation and support
- Configuration and setup of Networking devices to be deployed on the Vodacom Network
- Direct impact on Support and contract deliverable
- Assume responsibility for the following:
- Ensure devices are configured correctly for deployment
- Ensure devices are ready for shipment in time for scheduled deployment
- Manage regional support stock levels
- Attend and advise solution scoping meetings
- Design and deploy Cisco switch configurations
Requirements
- Strong telephony device experience
- Good technical knowledge of LAN and WAN infrastructure
- Excellent in-depth network knowledge
- Understanding of SDwan solutions
- Good understanding of Wireless solutions
- N+ A+
- CCNA or equivalent
- HCNA
- HCNP preferably
- CCNP preferably
