About the Role
Our client is seeking to employ an experienced General Manager to lead operations within their retail and logistics division. This role requires a highly skilled professional with strong leadership, commercial acumen, and operational expertise to manage a multi-faceted facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across fuel, retail, food services, truck parking, and site facilities
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Health and Safety legislation
- Implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Ensure operational readiness, equipment uptime, and service standards
- Manage budgets, expenses, procurement, and financial controls
- Drive revenue growth across all business units
- Oversee cash handling, reconciliations, and audits
- Promote and market the facility to increase usage
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 (minimum)
- Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Retail Management, Logistics, Operations, or related field
- Additional certifications in Health & Safety, Fuel & Retail Operations, Facilities Management, or Finance (advantageous)
